Are Israelis just too exhausted or just too hot to protest food prices?
Many of us will fondly recall the 2011 social justice protests, with their tent cities, stroller parades and sense of solidarity for a few brief weeks that summer. The protest rapidly morphed into a general protest over the high cost of living and other grievances, but it was all sparked by an increase in the price of cottage cheese.
