Convicted kosher slaughterhouse CEO liberated by Trump arrives in Israel

Sholom Rubashkin, a former arch executive of a largest kosher slaughterhouse in a US who was convicted of bank rascal and income laundering, is now in Israel and visited a Western Wall Friday morning.

Rubashkin, who is from a Chabad community, was convicted in 2009 of defrauding dual banks that had supposing his business, Agriprocessors, with loans, while charges relating to a use of bootleg immigrants were eventually forsaken and he was clear of charges per a use of child-labor.

He was given a complicated judgment of 27 years seizure for his crimes, though the judgment was commuted by US President Donald Trump in 2017 after he had served 8 years, citing bipartisan support for his release, including from 4 former attorneys-general and 45 members of Congress.

Rubashkin’s outing to Israel is his initial given he was expelled and he arrived in a nation on Thursday.

He attended a “Sheva Brachot” jubilee following a marriage of Rabbi Eliezer Sorotzkin, conduct of a Haredi Independent Education System on Thursday night where he done some remarks about his visit.

On Friday morning, Rubashkin visited a Western Wall and was photographed assisting another caller put on tefillin.
