Family rushed to hospital, returned to find home destroyed
Ofakim, a city in Southern Israel, is home to a sizeable nonetheless tight-knit village of frum Jews. One of a community’s many dear and reputable members is talmid chacham Rabbi Yehuda Politansky, a male in his fifties famous for being a talmid of Rav Shimshon Pinkus zt”l.
To many, a Politanskys seemed to have it all: children, Torah, and prestige. In 2017, however, their lives began to turn out onto a trail they could have never anticipated.
Rabbi Politansky initial began experiencing seizures and waste of alertness a year and a half ago. Through many treatments and hospitalizations since, doctors still have not succeeded in ascertaining a means of his illness. And so a Politanskys have schooled to live with puzzling illness, as a Rabbi’s health has usually declined.
Last month, a unthinkable happened: Rabbi Politansky gifted one of his episodes of losing consciousness. They rushed to a hospital, and he was treated. Little did they know, however, that in their deficiency a glow had erupted in their home. As they rushed in an ambulance to a nearest medical center, abandon engulfed and broken all they owned.
Now, Rebbetzin Politansky is during a detriment as to how to single-handedly make adequate income to reinstate their belongings, find them a new place to live, and compensate their stream destiny bills. It is a complicated weight for a center aged lady who is now also carrying a weight of her husband’s medical condition, as good as her possess health issues.
An emergency fund has been non-stop to save a Politanskys from homelessness, and to assistance them overcome their large debt. As of now in further to being physically and emotionally tired they have no clothing, appliances, furniture, or domicile staples.
