The official housing data may not reflect this, but any resident of Haifa who has visited Hanamal Street in the evening will tell you that the city is home to thousands of young Arab Israelis. Some are students at universities and colleges in the north, while others, unable to find their place in the villages or towns where they grew up, have chosen to move to “Arab Tel Aviv.”
