Iraqi officials levy Basra curfew amid aroused protests

BASRA – Iraqi officials have imposed a curfew on Basra starting during 4pm internal time (1300 GMT) on Saturday, a troops matter said.

Iraq’s second biggest city has been rocked by 5 days of lethal demonstrations, in that supervision buildings have been ransacked and set land by protesters indignant over viewed domestic corruption.
