Iraqi officials lift curfew in Basra

BASRA, Iraq – Iraqi officials in Basra carried a curfew on Saturday night that had been in place given 4 p.m. (1300 GMT), a troops said.

The streets of Basra were ease on Saturday, after days of aroused protests rocked Iraq’s southern oil hub.
