Israel starts construction of sea separator around Gaza strip

Israel has begun building an underwater sea separator to forestall Palestinian infiltrators from entering Israel by sea, a Defense Ministry announced on Sunday.

Building began around a northern Gaza border, on Zikim beach. According to a Defense Ministry, a construction is approaching to continue by a finish of a year.

The separator will include of 3 layers. The initial will be next a water; a second will be done of stone; a third will be done of spiny wire. An additional blockade will approximate a sea fence. The Defense Ministry described a separator as “An inflexible breakwater.”
