Former invulnerability minister Avigdor Liberman faced heckling from haredi (ultra-Orthodox) extremists Wednesday night when he went to compensate respects to a family of Nahal Haredi Battalion infantryman Yosef Cohen, who was killed final Thursday.
The hecklers complained that as invulnerability minister, Liberman pushed for haredim to offer in a IDF. They cursed him for perplexing to pass a haredi investiture bill.
As he was on his approach from a Jerusalem home where partial of Cohen’s family is sitting shiva, Liberman listened hecklers tell him “you are worse than those who killed him.” The hecklers called Liberman a killer and told him to be ashamed of himself.
Liberman and his staff left a area unharmed.
