BANGKOK- Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on Sunday criticized Australia’s pierce to commend West Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, observant countries had “no rights” to do so.
Australia’s pierce follows US President Donald Trump’s preference to pierce a US embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv in May, that murderous Palestinians and a wider Islamic universe and dissapoint Western allies.
“Jerusalem should sojourn as it is now and not a collateral of Israel,” Mahathir told Reuters on a sidelines of an eventuality in Bangkok.
“Jerusalem has always been underneath Palestine, so because are they holding a beginning to order Jerusalem not belonging to them, though to order a Arabs and a Jews? They have no rights,” he added.
Malaysia is a majority-Muslim nation and has prolonged upheld a two-state resolution in a Palestine-Israel conflict.
