More men than women reported job discrimination in Israel in 2024

For the first time since the 2008 establishment of Israel’s Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, more men than women filed complaints to the agency in 2024. Of the 1,277 complaints filed last year – an increase of 600 from the previous year – 56 percent were from men and 44 percent from women. In previous years, women accounted for 65 percent of complaints, on average.
