‘Refugees’ in Private Jets: Russian Oligarchs Could Reshape Israel’s Economy

The images last week of Roman Abramovich at Ben-Gurion International Airport, just before he boarded a plane after a quick visit to Israel, could be a preview of a much larger tale: that in the face of sanctions, Jewish oligarchs close to Russian President Vladimir Putin are flocking to take advantage of their Israeli citizenship, or their right to obtain such citizenship under the Law of Return.
