Report: Iran claims barb module is defensive

DUBAI-Iran pronounced on Sunday a barb module is defensive and not in crack of U.N. resolutions, a state news group IRNA reported, but confirming a US claim Tehran had carried out a new barb test.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Saturday cursed what he described as Iran’s contrast of a medium-range ballistic barb able of carrying mixed warheads as a defilement of a general agreement on Tehran’s chief programme.

Iran’s barb programme is defensive in nature… There is no Security Council fortitude prohibiting a barb programme and barb tests by Iran,” Foreign Ministry orator Bahram Qasemi was quoted as observant by IRNA in response to Pompeo’s remarks.
