Russia’s Putin says will respond in kind if U.S. withdraws from INF arms treaty

MOSCOW – Russian President Vladimir Putin pronounced on Wednesday that if a United States decides to repel from a Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces treaty, Russia will have to respond in kind, and will do so really fast and effectively.

“If a United States does repel from a INF treaty, a categorical doubt is what they will do with these newly accessible missiles. If they will broach them to Europe, naturally the response will have to counterpart this,” Putin said.
