  • April 12, 2019

Arutz Sheva spoke to Morris Khan, boss of SpaceIL, on Friday, who stays upbeat and confident notwithstanding Bereheet’s disaster to land safely on a moon on Thursday night. As millions of people watched in expectation for Israel’s booster to make lunar history. SpaceIL mislaid communication with Beresheet mins before Israel was set to turn a fourth republic to land on a moon after a successful seven-week tour in space.

“I’m happy,” a 89-year aged South African-born businessman said. “The dwindle of Israel is on a moon. The aphorism of “Small country, large dreams” and Am Yisrael Chai (the republic of Israel lives) is on a moon. we consider we’ve finished something. We got around a moon, we landed on a moon. It usually happened to be a tough landing.”

“This is Beresheet (Hebrew for Genesis, a initial of a 5 books of a Torah), and Beresheet was usually a beginning. We’re usually during a beginning,” Khan stressed.

“We did a really veteran job. We were in space for dual months. Beresheet behaved beautifully,” Khan enthused.

“The summary for those examination is we attempted and didn’t complete. It doesn’t meant that we stopped. we consider that Israel has to continue and I’m certain they will continue. We schooled a lot and we valid a lot. We showed that we could get to a moon. There was usually a slight technical [glitch] during a really finish during a landing. we don’t courtesy this as a failure. we courtesy it as a success.”

“I’m happy tonight,” Khan emphasized. “I feel a investment we done was worthwhile.”

Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was equally optimistic. “Write this down, in 3 years we will get another booster on a moon, and this one will land in one piece,” Netanyahu said.

“If during first, we don’t succeed, try again. We’ll try again, and subsequent time we’ll usually try it some-more gently.”
