Tens of thousands of visitors are set to deplane on Tel Aviv in May for a 2019 Eurovision. And they’re going to need somewhere to sleep.
Hotel room prices are skyrocketing – and stuffing adult fast. And while many will opt for AirBnB options, a Tel Aviv Municipality is perplexing a some-more artistic solution.
Channel 2 News reported Monday night that a city has only sealed a understanding to move a 500-room journey boat to wharf nearby Tel Aviv and residence visitors for a week of a Eurovision.
The municipality reliable Tuesday that it will be bringing an Italian journey boat to a shores of a city and renting out bedrooms on house to guest during a Eurovision.
“The prices of hotels in Tel Aviv are really really high,” Tel Aviv mayor Ron Huldai told a TV network. “It’s really critical to emanate vigour to reduce a prices – and bringing a journey boat to a shores of Tel Aviv, that’s 500 bedrooms and reasonable prices.”
While earthy work on the Eurovision Village housed in Tel Aviv has nonetheless to begin, a municipality has large skeleton for a space.
According to a news Sunday on Channel Ten, a Eurovision Village, hosted in Charles Clore Park, will cost NIS 5 million. The municipality is organizing a week of events and performances for a many visitors – in partial since tickets for a Eurovision itself are expected to be tough to come by.
But in a village, there will be performances from past Israeli Eurovision contestants (and winners), food, DJs, sporting events and parties good into a night.
