Throughout the year, Haaretz’s hi-tech and technology reporters meet and speak with hundreds of startups and entrepreneurs, and each year, around July, we collect those that impressed us the most. It can be an eloquent entrepreneur, an intriguing product, or an exciting goal. It’s important to us that there be well-known investors behind the company, who have done due diligence, and we make sure to find out, consult, and verify that the company is the real deal and actually has a real product.
