In the 2026 Shanghai Ranking, a leading international ranking of research universities, Hebrew University places 89th and the Weizmann Institute of Science 71st. Both are among the ranking’s top 100 institutions worldwide. The Technion, ranked 97th last year, has slipped into the 101-150 band.
