Top US official: rarely expected Russia will find to change 2018 US vote

WASHINGTON – U.S. Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats pronounced on Tuesday he had not seen justification of “robust effort” by Russia to happen in a 2018 U.S. election, though it is “highly likely” Moscow will try to do so.

“We have not seen justification of a strong bid nonetheless on a partial of Russia, though we know their assail activities continue to exist,” Coats told a Senate Armed Services conference on “Worldwide Threats.”

“It’s rarely expected that they will be doing something. We only don’t know how most and when and where,” he said. Russia has denied any such efforts.
