U.S. troops atmosphere strike kills 9 militants

NAIROBI- The US troops pronounced it killed 9 militants in an atmosphere strike targeting al Shabaab in Lebede, Somalia, as partial of a operations to support a government’s efforts to break a belligerent group.

The military’s Africa Command (Africom) pronounced a strike was carried out on Friday. “We now consider this airstrike killed 9 militants with no civilians involved,” Africom pronounced in a matter late on Saturday.

The United States carries out periodic atmosphere strikes in Somalia in support of a UN-backed supervision there, that has been fighting opposite an al-Shabaab rebellion for years.
