  • September 07, 2018

WASHINGTON – US Vice President Mike Pence urged Paraguay’s new boss to hang to his predecessor’s preference to pierce a embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, Pence’s bureau pronounced on Thursday after Asuncion announced skeleton to change a tactful goal behind to Tel Aviv.

Paraguay on Wednesday dealt a blow to Israeli’s query for approval of Jerusalem as a capital, that seemed to have gained some traction this year when a United States, followed by Guatemala and Paraguay, relocated embassies there.

Most countries do not commend Israeli government over a whole city.

Pence, who played a categorical purpose in President Donald Trump’s preference to pierce a US embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv, spoke on Wednesday to Paraguayan President Mario Abdo, who was inaugurated on Aug. 15.

Pence “strongly encouraged” Abdo to follow by with Paraguay’s joining to pierce a embassy to Jerusalem “as a pointer of a ancestral attribute a nation has confirmed with both Israel and a United States,” Pence’s bureau pronounced in a statement.

Former Paraguay President Horacio Cartes non-stop a new embassy in Jerusalem on May 21, only days after a United States and Guatemala did.

Hours after Paraguay announced a change on Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded by grouping a closure of Israel’s embassy in Paraguay.
