U.S. welcomes assembly between North, South Korea on Olympics security

WASHINGTON – The US State Department welcomed Tuesday’s assembly between North and South Korean officials directed during ensuring a protected Winter Olympics, and pronounced it would work with Seoul to safeguard North Korea’s appearance does not violate UN sanctions.
