With an assault of antisemitic themes prevalent on today’s amicable media, antisemitism is now entering a private globe of millions, and acts and tongue targeting Jews are still prevalent. Yet for a materialisation so widespread, a bounds and expressions mostly come into debate. As such, Yad Vashem has partnered with FutureLearn to yield a giveaway online march that analyzes a story of antisemitism as good as a stream inlet and expressions.
Titled “Antisemitism: From a Origins to a Present,” a six-week march investigates over 2,000 years of history, explaining how antisemitism has manifested itself by several eras of a past – including, of course, a ultimate accent during a Shoah – and a new forms to be grappled with in complicated society. The march is centered on video clips by 50 distinguished intellectuals and historians, such as Prof. Irwin Colter, EMET prizewinner Prof. Yehuda Bauer and Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks.
For Yad Vashem, a World Holocaust Remembrance Center, a march exemplifies a relevancy of a Shoah for generations to come.
“Yad Vashem is charged with disseminating historically accurate information on a Holocaust,” settled Yad Vashem Chairman Avner Shalev.
