WATCH: Israeli Warplanes Attack Several Targets in Gaza
Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on multiple targets in the Gaza Strip on Friday, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
WAFA correspondent said Israeli warplanes attacked an apartment in a high-rise building in Al-Rimal neighborhood, but no casualties were confirmed yet.

Israeli warplanes also attacked targets in the town of Beit Lahia, north of the Strip, as well as in Khan Yunis in the south of the enclave.
Tension is high following Israel’s arrest of Bassam al-Saadi, a senior member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), last Monday.

After the arrest, the PIJ sounded full alert among its fighters – implying a threat of imminent retaliation – after footage circulating on Israeli media appeared to show Saadi may have been injured during his arrest.
In an escalation of its 15-year-long siege, Israel shut all crossings into Gaza on Tuesday stopping the transport of goods and aid into Gaza and preventing workers from crossing into Israel.
