The deal to sell Zim, Israel’s largest shipping company, to a consortium led by Germany’s Hapag-Lloyd and private equity firm FIMI, is excellent for the country – this was the message conveyed by Ishay Davidi, FIMI’s controlling shareholder and manager, who appeared before a Knesset committee on Sunday.
