Imprisoned rapper donates $$1,000 to Chabad

Rapper Kodak Black donated $1,000 to a south Florida Chabad synagogue while portion a four-year jail sentence.

The donation, done final week, was his second present in as many years to a Downtown Jewish Center Chabad of Fort Lauderdale, according to Rabbi Schneur Kaplan. The rapper, famous for a strike singles “Zeze”and “Roll in Peace,” is connected to a synagogue by his lawyer, Brad Cohen, who is a member there.

“I know that he is a munificent individual, and his profession common with him things that we are doing, so he wanted to minister to it,” Kaplan told a Jewish Telegraphic Agency. “It’s a pleasing thing to see that we perceived support from people even outward of a Jewish village who conclude a work that we’re doing.”

Kodak Black was condemned to scarcely 4 years in jail final month for fibbing on credentials check forms for dual gun purchases. The grant to Chabad was partial of $8,000 in sum donations done by a rapper, who also donated to a south Florida preschool and to a child who is blind, according to a luminary report site TMZ.

Kaplan pronounced a concession to Chabad will go toward a construction of a new building. Kaplan says he hopes to be in hold with Kodak Black in a future.
