Israel Film Festival in Los Angeles announces lineup
The 32nd Israel Film Festival in Los Angeles, that will take place Nov 6 to 20, has announced a full lineup. The festival will offer screenings of some-more than 40 underline films, documentaries, radio array and brief films during theaters around Los Angeles, as good as special events.
More than 25 filmmakers will attend in a festival, that will underline a best of Israeli cinema, including a leader of this year’s Ophir Award, The Cakemaker by Ofir Raul Grazier; The Unorthodox by Eliran Malka, that was a opening- night film during this year’s Jerusalem Film Festival; and Redemption by Yossi Madmony and Boaz Yehonatan Yacov, that won a Jerusalem Film Festival Audience Award. Three new radio array will be shown during a festival: On a Spectrum, The New Black (aka Shababnikim) and The Conductor.
This year’s festival will embody a decoration of a 70th anniversary of a first of Israel, with screenings of classical films done by late filmmakers, including Halfon Hill Doesn’t Answer by Assi Dayan; we Love You, Rosa, destined by Moshe Mizrahi and Menahem Golan; and Turn Left during a End of a World, that was constructed by Leon Edery, who upheld divided this year. Nesher will be awarded a festival’s IFF Cinematic Achievement Award, for his work and his many new film, The Other Story, will open a festival. Israel’s heading filmmaker, Nesher has destined 20 award-winning cinema that have been shown all over a universe and have led a rebirth in Israeli cinema. Jason Blum, owner of Blumhouse Productions, will accept a IFF Achievement in Film and TV Award.
