Libya’s UN-recognised forces retake strategic Haftar base
Forces allied to the UN-recognised government in Libya are in full control of Gharyan, just south of the capital, Tripoli.
Soldiers recaptured the city after weeks of fighting with forces allied to the warlord Khalifa Haftar.
