Passengers fire into air as convoy zooms through Bedouin town in broad daylight
Police on Saturday announced the opening of an investigation after an armed convoy was filmed speeding through the streets of a southern Bedouin town in broad daylight, as passengers fired automatic weapons into the air.
Footage of the incident in Shaqib al-Salam, also known as Segev Shalom, was published by Channel 13, leading police to announce the probe.
The footage, like similar ones from the Bedouin towns in southern Israel, was uploaded to the TikTok video-sharing social networking service.
Channel 13 said it wasn’t clear when the incident took place.
